About Me

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Michele Krile. I was born and raised in Northern California.

I have been happily married to my awesomely supportive and smart electrical engineer hubby, Jim, for 10 years. Jim keeps me on a more even keel, as he is the goofy one! And he is such a good father. We all live in Ohio. We both love the Lord and enjoy leading /co-facilitating Bible Studies and Christian Life group studies as He opens the doors to that.

I homeschool our 2 kids; 9 year old daughter, and 5 year old son.

I struggle in parenting with grace. Praise God that He gives us all grace, for I am not perfect!

However, I struggle as a perfectionist. (Can anyone say OCD?) God is teaching me to let Him take control.

I am a writer of poetry, of devotionals, of sayings, of silly stuff. In God’s timing, I believe I will publish a series of poetry devotionals. My first season devotional email newsletter in 2012 and this blog will be the basis of my first booklet.

Through what God has inspired me to write, I have a passion for encouraging and challenging other Believers in their faith in Christ and for witnessing to the lost and seeking.

Writing is in my blood; my Israeli-born Christian mom is a writer, speaker and the creator of the awesome Christian Hebrew correspondence course, Easy Hebrew (www.easyhebrew.com). She and my step-dad, Ken, help to bring alive the Hebraic roots of Christianity also through her books and their speaking.

I am basically an introvert, requiring quiet and alone time, but rarely get it! I do so love girl time, though, especially if I can encourage you!

My boldness in Christ comes from Him alone, for on my own, I shake in my boots!

I have been on a long journey toward physical wellness, so I research nutrition and i love to share what I learn.

I strive to feed my family healthy and yummy whole foods as much as possible, so to be stewards of the bodies God has given us.

I have baggage. (I come from a broken family) I am still learning to let go.

We all carry baggage in some form or another. Come set yours down as I share what God has shown me to encourage your heart and challenge your faith. Come and let the Holy Spirit lighten your load, help you let go, yet keep your path straight!

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

I welcome your comments or and prayer requests. I would love to get to know you and pray for you! Stop by again, dear friend. Better yet, subscribe!

  1. Michele,
I am glad you were able to come to the convention on Thursday. Thank you for the poem – Step Into My Heart. God used it as confirmation and reminders that He is with me through some of the things I am experiencing.

    • Hi, Heather! My heart smiles largely knowing that God has blessed you through one of the poems He inspired me to write. I pass my poems out everywhere I go and rarely hear from a recipient. Thank you for sharing how it has touch your heart :-); confirmation to me that I brought along and shared the right poem at the Great Homeschool Conv. in Cincy! Prayers and blessings to you, my friend!!
